St. Frank Handblown Glass Pitcher

This St. Frank pitcher is a stunning example of Mexican glassblowing, infused with centuries of tradition. While pre-Hispanic Mexican glassware was crafted from volcanic obsidian, the Spanish introduced the art of clear handblown glass in the 16th century, with the industry flourishing first in Puebla. This particular pitcher was meticulously created in a remote town in the state of Hidalgo, where an entire community contributes to a family-owned factory established three decades ago. Each piece is a testament to collaborative artistry, skillfully passed from one maestro to the next until its completion. As a unique, handmade piece, expect slight variations in color and form, making your pitcher truly one-of-a-kind.
