About Nordic Ware

Founded in Minneapolis at the end of the Second World War by a housewife, Dotty, and her newly demobbed husband, Dave, Nordic Ware began on a shoestring budget with just a handful of high-quality products all inspired by Scandinavian culinary tradition. Today theyre still owned and run by the same family three generations working together with a company ethos thats aimed at creating sturdy, no-nonsense heirloom-quality cookware and bakeware pieces that will be used and valued for years to come. Still based on a single site in their home town, with a state of the art design studio on site, they strive to keep their carbon footprint as small as possible and have organic kitchen gardens on-site tended by the workers with a percentage of the produce going to local charities every week.
