Inspired by traders’ rice bowls used on ships during the Edo period, our Hasami Ware Rice Bowls modernizes both function and tradition. Functionally, the angles of this bowl are designed to be more stable and less likely to knocked over. Available in 2 sizes to fill with side dishes or personal meals.

Hasami, Japan is known for its rich tradition of quality white porcelain. Made of Amakusa ceramic stone, Hasami-Ware is characterized by its transparent white color and traditional pattern designs passed through generations.

The Stripes pattern features big vertical stripes that surround the bowl.
